5 Easy 30-Minute Dinners for Busy Weeknights

Weeknights can be hectic, and finding time to cook a wholesome meal often feels impossible. But you don’t have to rely on takeout or frozen dinners! 1. Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.

  2. Add chicken slices and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and honey. Mix well.
  4. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 8 large lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • Toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, avocado, sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic for 2 minutes.
  2. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute.
  4. Add tomato sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
